Worked as Disease Vector Research Specialist for the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia, U. S. A. Expertise in Global Health with interest in Health Care Innovation and Systems Performance. Experience in working as guest researcher at the South African Institute of Medical Research in Johannesburg and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. Worked on numerous health-related projects, including Modeling Infectious Disease Agents Study (MIDAS) sponsored by the National Institute of general Medical Sciences of the United States National Institutes of Health. Taught Molecular Biology.

Volunteers for the Grand Challenges in Global Health Canada peer review process and the Let’s Talk Science Program (an outreach education program offering science, technology, mathematics and engineering training for preschool to Grade 12).
