As an Executive Vice President and senior professional with more than 33 years of experience in engineering,project management, and business management, Steve has a corporate responsibility for Stantec’s Project Delivery Office.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, along with a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver British Columbia. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia (APEGBC) and the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
From Sweden to Chile, from the United States to Canada, Steve has successfully managed and implemented complex projects around the world.
As an expert on the topics of project management and public private partnerships, Steve has presented to organizations and conferences throughout North America and has lectured at the University of British
Columbia, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and Penn State University.
Steve’s first involvement with P3’s was through his MBA thesis with a risk management focus in BOT, BOOT, and other first generation P3 approaches.
Since then, Steve has been involved in numerous P3 projects, both as Owner’s Advisor, and as Proponents Design Manager. He has presented on the topics of Project Management and Public Private Partnerships to organizations and conferences throughout North America and has lectured at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, the University of British Columbia, and Penn State University.
