Originally from the UK, Stephen Bull immigrated to Canada in 1996 where and worked in the private industry for 12 years with Saville Systems, initially as a software tester, then as an R&D Project Manager and finally as a director with responsibility for software quality assurance across the world.
In January of 2008, Stephen accepted a position with Alberta Justice where he led multiple programs that consistently produced measurable results in business process improvement, modern technology solutions and organizational change. In April 2013, he was assigned to conduct a project audit which resulted in Stephen taking on the leadership role to implement the Alberta First Responders Radio Communications System (AFRRCS) that successfully went live on July 1, 2016.
Stephen moved to Service Alberta in March 2016, accepting the role of Assistant Deputy Minister of the SuperNet Secretariat, adding responsibility for Alberta’s SuperNet onto his continuing role with AFRRCS.
In his limited spare time, Steve has taught project management at the University of Alberta and is a guest lecturer at NAIT. Stephen resides in Edmonton with his wife and two Siberian Forest Cats which, interestingly, are known for their bold temperament and unwavering composure.
