Kevin is an adult educator, engineering technologist and project manager who has spent over 25 years working within the petroleum, automotive and power generation industries. His experience and skills have afforded him the opportunity to work throughout Canada, United States as well as Central and South America.
Kevin is a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) engineering design program as well as Lean Manufacturing and Project Management Certificate programs. Kevin achieved Lean certification with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
After graduating the University of Alberta with a certificate in Adult and Continuing Education, Kevin’s career led to a training manager role at an international oil and gas manufacturing company during which Kevin began teaching part time at NAIT.
Currently Kevin is a full-time Facilitator, part of the team responsible for instructing in the Project Management Certificate program. He also created the Competence Management Certificate program currently offered through NAIT’s Productivity Enhancement Services (PES).
As a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) he is involved with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) and presently holds a position on council.
He is also a member of the Project Management Institute Northern Alberta Chapter (PMINAC).
