Daryle Niedermayer is an accomplished speaker, teacher, and project manager. He has taught Project Management at the college level in both Canada, and in Qatar. During his employment as a Senior Consultant with CGI, he managed the conversion of the Saskatchewan Government’s Public Employees’ Pension Plan. This project not only included converting almost $4 billion of assets for each of 60,000 members, but also required converting 2 years of financial history between the systems. While with CGI, he also managed a number of disaster recovery enablement projects for Russell Investments, a large US Capital Market firm as well as formulating pandemic and disaster plans for one of CGI’s own data centres. He has earned both the PMP as well as the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) designations.
More recently, Mr. Niedermayer was a manager in the Information Technology Services department at the University of Lethbridge where he created a business analysis community of practice and help develop a more robust project portfolio management process. Currently his company, Atlas Business Solutions, has a contract with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency and provides technological solutions alongside project management and business consulting to government and business. Daryle is often described as the “Google Translator” between technicians and business users in an enterprise and is able to help business and technology people find new and effective ways to solve enterprise problems.
